Simple ways to keep your whites white

We all have our favorite clothes that we want to wear over and over again. Unfortunately, nothing lasts forever, and very often some of our favorite fashion pieces (especially white ones) become unwearable very quickly. However, you can make your whites last longer if you take care of them. In fact, simple household ingredients can be used to preserve your favorite wardrobe items from turning gray, yellow, or dingy.

Pour 2 liters of water into a large pot, and bring it to a boil. Take three lemons, and squeeze out the juice. Mix one tablespoon of salt in hot water. Add the lemon juice and a 1/4 cup of washing powder. Let your clothes soak for about 40 minutes, then rinse in clear water two to three times. Hang dry.
