Why smartphones are the biggest problem of the 21st century

The third prize at this year’s Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity was won by the company Ogilvy Communications, which created a series of advertisements revealing the role played by modern technology in our daily lives. Using the slogan, ’The more you connect, the less you connect’, it really makes you stop and think.

It’s well worth pondering the message here — after all, can anyone really say they’re not guilty of this kind of behaviour?
